Major Gridline Properties Dialog Box, Visibility

Select Visibility on the Major Gridlines Properties dialog box to set visibility options for major gridlines in the chart.

Options

  • On the initial run of the report
    Select an option to indicate how the report item is initially displayed in the report.

  • Show
    Select this option to show the report item.

  • Hide
    Select this option to hide the report item.

  • Show or hide based on an expression
    Select this option to vary the initial visibility using an expression.

    Type an expression that evaluates to a Boolean value of True to hide the item or False to show the item. Click the Expression (fx) button to edit the expression.

  • Show or hide the selected item by clicking this report item
    Type or select the name of the text box that the user can click to change the current visibility of the report item. The text box must belong to the same group (or containing group) as the report item.
