Query Statement Properties: General Tab

Use this tab to specify the attributes that are returned in the query results and to determine how the results are displayed in the results pane of the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 console.
Site database queries are different from status message queries. When creating status message queries, use the status message query builder. Do not paste text from a standard Configuration Manager 2007 query into a status message query.
- Find objects of type
Displays the object type that the query searches against.
- Omit duplicate rows
When the query is run, duplicate results are omitted when the results are displayed. Only one instance of each result is displayed.
The attributes that are returned in the query results. You can use the buttons in this table to add, modify, or delete query result attributes and to modify how the query results are ordered in columns and are sorted.
- New button
Click to open the Query Result Properties dialog box, which you can use to add a new query result attribute.
- Properties button
Click to open the Query Result Properties dialog box, which you can use to modify the properties of a query result attribute.
- Delete button
Click to remove a query result attribute from the query criteria in the table.
Move up button
Click to move a query result attribute up one line in the table.
The top-to-bottom order of the attributes in the Query result attributes table reflects the left-to-right order in which they are displayed in the query results columns when the query is run. In other words, the top attribute in the table appears in the leftmost query results column and the bottom attribute in the table appears in the rightmost query results column. - Move down button
Click to move a query result attribute down one line in the table.

- Show Query Language
Opens the Query Statement Properties dialog box to display the query in the Query language view. You can work in the Query Language view to compose or edit a query manually by using WBEM Query Language (WQL) commands.
