The Task Sequences node displays a list of the task sequences that have been created, the actions that can be run, and, when a task sequence is selected from the Task Sequences results pane, specific actions that can be run for that task sequence.

The task sequences that have been created are displayed in a list in the Task Sequences results pane. The Name column is used as the default sort order. The following columns are displayed by default:

  • Name: The name of the task sequence as specified by the Configuration Manager Administrator.

  • Comment: The optional comment entered for the task sequence.

  • Task ID: The ID number created by Configuration Manager 2007 for the task sequence.

  • Creation date: The date and time that the task sequence was created.

You can filter the task sequences that are displayed in the Task Sequences results pane using the four filter actions located above the list.
