Applies To: System Center Configuration Manager 2007, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R3, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP1, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP2

The following example demonstrates installation settings used to perform an unattended secondary site installation. Setting placeholders are used for setting information. For more information about settings details, see Unattended Setup Overview.

When used with the /script setup command-line option, this setup initialization file example will install a secondary site:

SiteCode=[Site Code]

PrerequisiteComp=[0 or 1 (0 for no, 1 for yes)]

PrerequisitePath=[Path to prerequisite files]

SiteName=[Site Name]

SMSInstallDir=[Installation directory]

ParentSiteCode=[Parent Site's Site Code]

ParentSiteServer=[Parent Site's Server Name]

When using a scripted installation method, Configuration Manager Setup will fail if the client prerequisite files cannot be downloaded.
