By using remote control properties, you can:

  • Specify the level of control that the administrator has over your computer by selecting which tasks, such as file transfer, that you want your administrator to perform.

  • Specify that you are notified with a message requesting your permission whenever an administrator attempts to operate your computer remotely.

  • Specify that you are notified with a visual indicator or with a sound when an administrator is controlling your computer.

Note

If your administrator locks down these settings for your computer, you cannot modify them.
