How to Delete a SQL Reporting Services Report

Applies To: System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R3

To delete a SQL Reporting Services report in Configuration Manager 2007 R2, right-click the report and select Delete. However, before deleting a report, you should note the following consequences:

  • If the report being deleted is linked with another report, the link between the reports will be broken.

  • There is no equivalent of the Windows Recycle Bin in SQL Reporting Services. If you mistakenly delete a report, you might not be able to recover it.

Use the following procedure to delete a SQL Reporting Services report in Configuration Manager 2007 R2.

The information in this topic applies only to Configuration Manager 2007 R2 and Configuration Manager 2007 R3.

To delete a SQL Reporting Services report

  1. In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Computer Management / Reporting / Reporting Services / <Reporting Server> and expand the node.

  2. Right-click a report, and then click Delete.

  3. In the Confirm Object Delete dialog box, click Yes.
