How to Digitally Sign an Individual E-mail Message in Outlook Web Access


This article explains how to sign e-mail messages using Outlook Web Access.

Before You Begin

Log on to Outlook Web Access with the S/MIME control installed as a user who has a certificate.


To digitally sign an individual e-mail message

  1. Click New to compose a new message.

  2. Add a recipient for the message and fill out the message fields.

  3. On the toolbar, select the Add digital signature to this message button.
