Restoring WSUS data

Restoring WSUS data consists of two procedures:
Recovering the WSUS database
Restoring the WSUS update files (if you chose to back them up)
When restoring your data, use the same tool that you used to back it up.
To restore the WSUS update files, copy the backup files to the %systemdrive%\WSUS\WSUSContent folder on your WSUS server.
To restore the WSUS database, use the following procedure.
To restore the WSUS database
Restore the backups of the Master and MSDB databases.
Restore the backup of the WSUS database.
