Invalid drive U:\

This error occurs during a WinAutomation installation, when the user folder is stored into a mapped drive.

It happens due to the fact that the installation of WinAutomation requires elevated permissions. Note that we cannot access a mapped network drive from an app that is running elevated.

To overcome the above, run the CMD as administrator and execute the following commands:

Command 1: net use U: “User Folder path into the shared folder (eg. \sharedFolder\Users data\ username)”

Command 2: net use

administrator command prompt

Now try again installing WinAutomation.
