Draw a free-form path

To draw a path that produces a pixel everywhere that your pointer touches, you use the Pencil tool. The result is a Path object whose points (or vertices) you can modify.

Note

For a quick reference of modifications that you can make to a path, see Direct Selection tool modifier keys and Pen tool modifier keys.
