How to: Register Visual Studio
If you choose not to register the product at the end of setup, you can register the product using other methods.
Note
Microsoft Passport and the product identification number (PID) are required to register. The PID can be found in the About dialog box on the Help menu.
To register the product
Register from within the product by choosing Register Product from the Help menu.

Register using the registration card found in the product box.
