How to: Map Serial Ports

The Device Emulator provides three serial ports, virtual COM ports, that you can map to COM ports on the development computer.

To map serial ports

  1. On the Device Emulator File menu, click Configure.

  2. On the Peripherals tab, specify the mapping.
