How to: Adjust Battery Settings on the Device Emulator

The device emulator can simulate the presence of a battery.

Note

For this operation to work, the emulator operating system (OS) image must support the device emulator's battery emulation. OS image support for battery emulation was introduced in Windows Mobile 6.

To Simulate Battery or AC Power

  1. Start the Device Emulator.

    For more information, see How to: Start the Device Emulator.

  2. On the Device Emulator File menu, click Configure.

  3. On the Peripherals tab, check Battery for battery power or clear Battery for AC power.

  4. If Battery is checked, type an integer 0-100 in %.

  5. Click OK.

    The device emulator is now running on battery power.
