NameIdentifierFormats Class

[Starting with the .NET Framework 4.5, Windows Identity Foundation (WIF) has been fully integrated into the .NET Framework. Defines URI constants for SAML 2.0 Name Format Identifiers.

Remarks

These identifiers may be used in the Format attribute of the NameID, NameIDPolicy, or Issuer elements to refer to common formats for the content of the elements and the associated processing rules, if any, [Saml2Core, 8.3]. The Issuer and NameID elements are represented by the Saml2NameIdentifier class and the Format attribute is represented by the Format property. The identifiers are constants of type Uri.
