SecurityTokenHandler.CreateToken Method

Called by the STS to create a token given a token descriptor.

Parameters

  • tokenDescriptor
    Describes the token; properties such as ValidFrom, AppliesTo, EncryptingCredentials, Claims, etc., are filled in before the call to create token.

Return Value

Returns SecurityToken.

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
