Gets the element at the current position of the enumerator.
Namespace: System.Collections.Generic
Assembly: mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)
Syntax
Private ReadOnly Property Entry As DictionaryEntry
Implements IDictionaryEnumerator.Entry
DictionaryEntry IDictionaryEnumerator.Entry { get; }
Property Value
Type: System.Collections..::.DictionaryEntry
The element in the dictionary at the current position of the enumerator, as a DictionaryEntry.
Implements
IDictionaryEnumerator..::.Entry
Exceptions
| Exception | Condition |
|---|---|
| InvalidOperationException | The enumerator is positioned before the first element of the collection or after the last element. |
Remarks
After an enumerator is created or after a Reset is called, MoveNext must be called to advance the enumerator to the first element of the collection before reading the value of Entry; otherwise, Entry is undefined.
Entry also throws an exception if the last call to MoveNext returned false, which indicates the end of the collection.
Entry returns the same object until MoveNext is called. MoveNext sets Entry to the next element.
