SortedDictionary<(Of <(TKey, TValue>)>).ValueCollection.Enumerator.IEnumerator.Reset Method

[ This article is for Windows Phone 8 developers. If you’re developing for Windows 10, see the latest documentation. ]

Sets the enumerator to its initial position, which is before the first element in the collection.

Namespace:  System.Collections.Generic
Assembly:  System (in System.dll)

Syntax

Private Sub Reset Implements IEnumerator.Reset
void IEnumerator.Reset()

Implements

IEnumerator..::.Reset()()()

Exceptions

Exception Condition
InvalidOperationException

The collection was modified after the enumerator was created.

Remarks

After calling the Reset method, you must call the MoveNext method to advance the enumerator to the first element of the collection before reading the value of the Current property.

An enumerator remains valid as long as the collection remains unchanged. If changes are made to the collection, such as adding, modifying, or deleting elements, the enumerator is irrecoverably invalidated.
