SortedDictionary<(Of <(TKey, TValue>)>).ICollection<(Of <(KeyValuePair<(Of <(TKey, TValue>)>)>)>).IsReadOnly Property
[ This article is for Windows Phone 8 developers. If you’re developing for Windows 10, see the latest documentation. ]
Gets a value indicating whether the ICollection<(Of <(T>)>) is read-only.
Namespace: System.Collections.Generic
Assembly: System (in System.dll)
Syntax
Private ReadOnly Property IsReadOnly As Boolean
Implements ICollection(Of KeyValuePair(Of TKey, TValue)).IsReadOnly
bool ICollection<KeyValuePair<TKey, TValue>>.IsReadOnly { get; }
Property Value
Type: System..::.Boolean
true if the ICollection<(Of <(T>)>) is read-only; otherwise, false. In the default implementation of SortedDictionary<(Of <(TKey, TValue>)>), this property always returns false.
Implements
ICollection<(Of <(T>)>)..::.IsReadOnly
Remarks
A collection that is read-only does not allow the addition, removal, or modification of elements after the collection is created.
A collection that is read-only is simply a collection with a wrapper that prevents modifying the collection; therefore, if changes are made to the underlying collection, the read-only collection reflects those changes.
Getting the value of this property is an O(1) operation.
