Namespace:  System.Windows.Input
Assembly:  System.Windows (in System.Windows.dll)

Syntax

Public ReadOnly Property Timestamp As Integer
public int Timestamp { get; }

Property Value

Type: System..::.Int32
An integer time-stamp value for the event.

Remarks

The return value forwards the time stampof the WM_TOUCH message. This time-stamp value might be useful if your application integrates with other multitouch code or if your application is processing touch from gestures.

Version Notes

Windows Phone

 This does not use the same underlying messages. Do not ascribe any meaning to the Timestamp numeric value. Limit your use of the value to scenarios where you compare two Timestamp values. The greater value represents a touch event that happens subsequent to the lesser value. In some cases, it is possible that Timestamp reports a negative value, but the deltas will still be representative of a normal time progression.
