SecureElementReader Class

Represents an object that can interact with the Secure Element on the phone.

The SecureElementReader type exposes the following members.


Name Description
CardEmulationMode Gets the user's selection in the wallet settings regarding the ability of the Secure Element to communicate with an external NFC terminal via the wireless NFC radio link.
IsSecureElementPresent Gets a value indicating whether a Secure Element is present.
TsmRoutingId Gets an ID that identifies the Trusted Service Manager (TSM) that manages this Secure Element.

Dispose Releases all resources used by the current instance of SecureElementReader.
Equals(Object) Determines whether the specified Object is equal to the current Object. (Inherited from Object.)
Finalize Frees resources used by the SecureElementReader object. (Overrides Object..::.Finalize()()().)
GetDefault Gets the default SecureElementReader object.
GetHashCode Serves as a hash function for a particular type. (Inherited from Object.)
GetType Gets the Type of the current instance. (Inherited from Object.)
MemberwiseClone Creates a shallow copy of the current Object. (Inherited from Object.)
OpenSession Connects to the Secure Element.
RegisterSecureElementItemAsync Registers an ISecureElementItem with the Secure Element.
ToString Returns a string that represents the current object. (Inherited from Object.)

RegisterSecureElementItemCompleted Occurs when registration with the Secure Element is complete.




If you use this API in your app, you must specify the following capabilities in the app manifest. Otherwise, your app might not work correctly or it might exit unexpectedly.
