The HandleTheirXlnResponse method processes the remote response for a log name exchange (XLN).

Syntax

[in] unsigned char *  pRemoteLogName  ,

[in] DWORD  cbRemoteLogName  ,

[in] DWORD  dwProtocol  ,

[out] DTCLUXLNCONFIRMATION *  pConfirmation

);

Parameters

Xln
[in] A DTCLUXLN struct that describes the XLN.

pRemoteLogName
[in] The remote log name.

cbRemoteLogName
[in] The size (in bytes) of the remote log name.

dwProtocol
[in] The protocol to be used for the XLN.

pConfirmation
[out] A pointer to a DTCLUXLNCONFIRMATION struct that describes the XLN confirmation.

Return Values

This method returns the standard values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY and E_UNEXPECTED, as well as the following:

S_OK
Method completed successfully.

XACT_E_CONNECTION_DOWN
The connection is down.
