IFPCEERefs::ExistsScopedItem method

The ExistsScopedItem method returns a Boolean value that indicates whether the collection contains an FPCRef object that references an item with the specified scope and name. The scope indicates whether the referenced item is defined for the array or for the enterprise.

Parameters

  • Scope [in]
    Required. Value from the FpcItemScope enumerated type that specifies the scope of the referenced item.

  • Name [in]

    C++ Required. BSTR that specifies the name of the referenced item.
    VB Required. String that specifies the name of the referenced item.
  • pfExits [out]
    Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if the collection contains an object with the specified scope and name, or to VARIANT_FALSE if the collection does not contain an object with the specified scope and name.

Return value

C++

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

VB

Boolean value that is set to True if the collection contains an object with the name specified, or to False if the collection does not contain an object with the name specified.
