IFPCEEReportJob2::AddCategory method

The AddCategory method adds an Report Definition Language (RDL) report category to the report job.

Syntax

HRESULT AddCategory(
  [in]  BSTR bstrCategoryName,
  [in]  String bstrCategoryName
);

  ByVal bstrCategoryName As String _

Parameters

  • bstrCategoryName [in]

    C++

    Required. BSTR that specifies the name of the RDL report category to add.
    VB

    Required. String that specifies the name of the RDL report category to add.

Return value

C++

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

VB

This method has no return values. If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.
