IFWXFirewallAction::Cancel method

The Cancel method cancels a Microsoft Firewall service action.

Syntax

HRESULT Cancel();

Parameters

This method has no parameters.

Return value

This method can return one of these values.

  • S_OK
    The method succeeded.

  • FWX_E_TERMINATING
    The action has already been canceled.

Remarks

The Firewall service can automatically cancel certain actions, including:

  • Actions that are supposed to happen only once (the action is canceled after its first occurrence).
  • Actions that have a time-out.
  • An action associated with a session that has been killed.
