IFWXIOBuffer::GetBufferSizes method

The GetBufferSizes method gets the allocated and actual buffer sizes.

Syntax

HRESULT GetBufferSizes(
  [out]  LPDWORD pdwAllocatedSize,
  [out]  LPDWORD pdwActualSize
);

Parameters

  • pdwAllocatedSize [out]
    Pointer to a variable that receives the allocated buffer size. The allocated size is the maximum number of bytes that the buffer can hold.

  • pdwActualSize [out]
    Pointer to a variable that receives the actual buffer size. The actual buffer size is the number of valid data bytes that the buffer currently holds.

Return value

This method can return one of these values.

  • S_OK
    The method succeeded.

  • E_POINTER
    Null pointer argument.
