Sample Application Filters

Sample application filters developed by using the Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) 2004/2006 Software Development Kit (SDK) were provided in the Samples\AppFilters folder of the ISA Server 2004/2006 SDK. These samples were provided to demonstrate coding techniques for creating application filters. The following samples were provided:

  • DataMonitor, which is a generic TCP data monitoring filter. This filter demonstrates the use of the principal application filter interfaces of the Forefront TMG SDK.
  • ExeBlock, which blocks the forwarding of executable files.
  • SOCK5, which enables SOCKS 5 support.
