SynchronizationRuleActivity Class

An activity that adds and removes ExpectedRuleEntry resources to the ExpectedRulesList property (see Resource) of a target resource as part of provisioning. This API supports the FIM 2010 infrastructure. Using this API directly from your code is not supported.

Remarks

This activity can only be used in the Action phase (see Request Processing).

This activity is commonly used to apply a synchronization rule (see SynchronizationRule) to a resource via the creation of an ExpectedRuleEntry Object (ERL) object in the FIM Service database).

This activity operates in the execution context of the Forefront Identity Manager Service Account. The execution context of out-of-box FIM activities cannot be modified.
