When the receiving application tries to retrieve a message from an open queue that has been deleted (typically by another application or a Message Queuing administrator using Computer Management or the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in), Message Queuing returns an MQ_ERROR_QUEUE_DELETED error to any subsequent receive and peek operations.
