How to Configure the Default Screen Resolution on a Run-Time Image (Windows Embedded Standard 2009)

You can change the default screen resolution of your run-time image in one of two ways:

In Target Designer, set the default screen resolution in your video driver component. Alternately, add the Display Settings Control Panel component to your run-time image. This enables you to change the resolution as the device is running.

Configuring default screen resolution on a run-time image

  1. Run Target Analyzer to detect the hardware components on your system.

  2. You can configure the display settings for your run-time image in Target Designer, or you can add functionality to your run-time image that allows you to configure the display settings as the device is running.

  3. Build and deploy your run-time image.
