Remove Windows Branding (Standard 7 SP1)

7/8/2014

There are two packages available for branding your startup screens. For more information about the package using the Windows Embedded Standard logo at startup, see Windows Embedded Standard Startup Screens. For more information about the package that does not show the Windows Embedded Standard logo at startup, see Unbranded Startup Screens.

Important

Unbranded Startup Screens will not function if you use it with an evaluation license. The Windows logo is used to show that the runtime is an evaluation license.

To remove Windows branding

  1. In Image Configuration Editor, under the Operating System\Edition Branding category, locate the Unbranded Startup Screens package.

  2. Add the package to your answer file (Unattend.xml).
