This function returns the ID of the current time zone.

Syntax

UINT GetTimeZoneInformationID(void);

Parameters

None.

Return Value

The current time zone ID. For a list of possible values, see Time Zone IDs.

Remarks

GetTimeZoneInformationID validates the ID found in the registry. If the ID is invalid or there is no ID in the registry, this function returns INVALID_TIMEZONE_ID.
