Install the Windows AIK (POSReady 7)

Use the following procedure to install the Windows Automated Installation Kit (Windows AIK) to the default location.
To install the Windows AIK
Insert the Windows AIK DVD into the technician computer's DVD-ROM drive.
The Setup program will automatically install tools and documentation on the local computer under C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\.
Note
If the Setup program does not start automatically, in Windows Explorer, browse to the DVD drive that contains the Windows AIK DVD, and then click StartCD.exe. Click Windows AIK Setup to begin the installation.
Default Installation Directories
By default, Setup creates the following directory structure:
C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Docs\
C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Samples\
C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\SDKs\
C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\
The following table describes each available folder created by Setup.
