This module provides File Server Resource Manager (FSRM), a suite of tools that allows administrators to understand, control, and manage the quantity and type of data stored on their remote and local servers.
Administrators can use the FSRM tools and API for file-related and storage-related management tasks as follows:
- Use directory quotas to set a limit on the size of a directory.
- Use file screens to restrict the type of data that can be stored under a directory.
- Generate storage reports to use analyze storage usage.
