Packages
A package is a group to which components and repositories can be added and then managed as a single unit. For example, all of the components and repositories in a package can be deleted from the component database in a single operation. You can also use packages to filter the items in the component browser in Target Designer.
Packages are defined with Component Designer. Components and repositories can have membership in any number of packages.
