Adding Drivers to Run the WEPOS Installation CD

For critical drivers (like mass storage devices) or devices you need running during setup (like network cards or external storage), you might need to add the drivers directly to the WEPOS Installation CD. To do this you will need the driver files for the devices, which are typically one or more .inf files and one or more .sys files**.**

To add drivers for devices running during Setup:

  1. Copy .inf files to the <WEPOSSetupCD>\I386\inf folder.
  2. Copy .sys files to the <WEPOSSetupCD>\I386\system32\drivers folder.
  3. Copy .dll files to <WEPOSSetupCD>\I386\system32 folder.
