802.11 Miniport Driver Power Management

An 802.11 miniport driver must support two NIC power settings: one for AC power and another for battery power.

  • The default AC power setting must enable the maximum speed of the 802.11 NIC.

  • The default battery power setting must enable the maximum conservation of battery power.
