Type: Automated test

Overview

The WdfLoadGroup driver load group can only be used by Windows Driver Framework (WDF). Drivers are expected to not specify this load order group. If the WdfLoadGroup value is used, it prevents the WDF boot start driver installation.

Details

This test checks the load order group value of the device driver. If the driver is using WdfLoadGroup, then the test flags this as an error.
