scroll method

Causes the window to scroll to the specified x- and y-offset at the upper-left corner of the window.

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.scroll(x, y);

Parameters

  • x [in]
    Type: long

    long that specifies the horizontal scroll offset, in pixels.

  • y [in]
    Type: long

    long that specifies the vertical scroll offset, in pixels.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.

This method is provided for backward compatibility only. The recommended way to scroll a window is to use the IHTMLWindow2::scrollTo method.
