ShowDropdown method

Opens or closes the list box portion of a drop-down combo box.

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.ShowDropdown(fShow);

Parameters

  • fShow [in]
    Type: BOOL

    BOOL that specifies TRUE to open the list box, or FALSE to close it.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.

Remarks

ShowDropdown was introduced in Windows Internet Explorer 7
