setEnd method

Sets the end point of the range.

 

Syntax

object.setEnd(oNode, offset);

Parameters

  • oNode [in]
    Type: Node

    A node in the document hierarchy.

  • offset [in]
    Type: long

    Specifies the offset value for the end point.

Return value

This method does not return a value.

Exceptions

Exception Condition
InvalidStateError

IHTMLDOMRange::detach has been invoked on the object.

IndexSizeError

offset is negative or greater than the number of child units in refNode. Versions earlier than Internet Explorer 10 return W3Exception_DOM_INDEX_SIZE_ERR.
