Removing RMS Program Files

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

Once the RMS service has been removed from the Web site, use Add or Remove Programs to remove the RMS program files.

Although not required, you should back up the RMS databases and archive them in a secure location. This completes the entire process of removing a RMS deployment from an IT infrastructure.
