IIS 6.0 F1: Web Server Extension Properties - Required Files Tab

Applies To: Windows Server 2008 R2

Use this tab to do the following:

  • View a list of required files for the designated Web service extension.

  • Add or remove files for a specific Web service extension.

  • Customize security for a designated Web service extension (allow or prohibit files).

This is a list of the required files and their current status for the designated Web service extension.

Click to add a required file to the list.

Click to remove the currently selected file from the list.

Click to allow the currently selected file to run on your Web server.

Click to prohibit the currently selected file from running on your Web server.

If all required files do not have the same status (for example, if one file has a status of Prohibited and the rest of the files have a status of Allowed), the status of the Web service extension displays as Custom.
