Disconnect from a Terminal Server

You can disconnect from a terminal server in Terminal Services Manager if you do not need to actively monitor the sessions and processes on the terminal server.

To disconnect from a terminal server

  1. In Terminal Services Manager, in the left pane, click the terminal server from which you want to disconnect.

  2. On the Action menu, click Disconnect. A red down arrow on the icon associated with the computer indicates that you are no longer connected to the computer.

To disconnect from all terminal servers in a terminal server group

  1. In Terminal Services Manager, in the left pane, click the terminal server group which you want to disconnect from all terminal servers that are a member of that group.

  2. On the Action menu, click Disconnect All. A red down arrow on the icon associated with the computer indicates that you are no longer connected to the computer.
