Reset the Delegation State for All Site or Application Features (IIS 7)

If you change the delegation state for site or application features, but you later want to go back to the default delegation settings inherited from the parent, you can reset the delegation state for all the site or application features.

Exceptions to feature requirements
To reset the delegation state for all site or application features
Open IIS Manager. For information about opening IIS Manager, see Open IIS Manager (IIS 7).
In the Connections pane:
- If you want to configure the delegation state of site features, click the server node in the tree.
To configure the delegation state of features in a specific site or all sites on a Web server, you must be a server administrator.
- If you want to configure the delegation state of application features, use the tools in the **Connections** pane to connect to the site that contains the application or applications. Then click the site in the tree.
To configure the delegation state of features in a specific application or all applications in a site, you must be a server administrator, or a user who has permission to connect to the site that contains the application or applications.
In Features View, double-click Feature Delegation.
Optionally, in the Actions pane, click Custom Site Delegation or Custom Application Delegation if you want to configure delegation for a specific site or application. Then select a site from the Site list or an application from the Application list.
Click Reset All Delegation in the Actions pane.
