Set Authentication Dialog Box
Applies To: Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista
Use the Set Authentication dialog box to configure how IIS SEO will connect to the Web site that you have specified. By default, the IIS SEO tool connects to the Web site by using Anonymous authentication. Use this dialog box to configure IIS SEO to use Basic authentication or Windows authentication, or to return it to using Anonymous authentication.
UI Elements
Element Name | Description |

Authentication Type |
Choose an authentication type from the drop-down list. Possible values are Anonymous, Basic, and Windows. |
User Name |
Type the user name. |
Password |
Type the password for the user name. |
Confirm Password |
Type the password again to confirm. |
The User Name, Password, and Confirm Password boxes are not enabled for Anonymous authentication.
