Enable Routing on Ports

Membership in the local Administrators group, or equivalent, is the minimum required to complete this procedure.

  1. Open the Routing and Remote Access MMC snap-in.

  2. In the console tree, expand the server name.

  3. Right-click Ports, and then click Properties.

  4. On the Devices tab, select a device, and then click Configure.

    In this case, you are configuring a tunneling protocol, a virtual device.

  5. In the Configure Device dialog box, select the connection options you want to enable for the device, and then click OK.

  6. Click Apply.
