About the Job Templates Page

The following tables describe the UI elements that are available on the Job Templates feature page and in the Actions pane.

Job Templates Page Elements

Element name Description

Status

Displays the status of the job template configuration. To view details about a job template that has a configuration error, click the job template name in the Job Templates page, and then in the Actions pane, click Edit. Configuration error details can be viewed on the Messages tab in the job template property sheet.

Name

Displays the job template friendly name.

Description

Describes the job template function.

Watch folders that use this job template

Displays information about the watch folders to which the job template is bound.

Actions Pane Elements

Element name Description

New

Opens the New Job Template dialog box, where you can create a new job template.

Edit

Opens the Edit Job Template dialog box for the job template that's selected in the Job Templates page. In this dialog box, you can edit the job template settings.

Delete

Deletes the job template that's selected in the Job Templates page. Job templates can't be deleted if they're bound to a watch folder. Before you can delete the job template, you must either bind another job template to the watch folder that's associated with the current job template, or delete the watch folder.
