Repair Remote Web Access

Applies To: Windows Small Business Server 2011 Standard

Problem Remote Web Access displays an error message that says, “Your computer can’t connect to the remote computer because the Remote Desktop Gateway server is temporarily unavailable. Try reconnecting later or contact your network administrator for assistance.”

Solution Restart the Remote Desktop Gateway service.

To start the Remote Desktop Gateway service

  1. Click Start, click Administrative Tools, right-click Services, and then click Run as administrator.

  2. In the Services (Local) list, right-click Remote Desktop Gateway, and then click Start.
