Modify security templates in Project Server

Summary: Edit Project Web App security templates by using the Manage Templates page in Project Web App Settings.

In Project Server permission mode, you can modify the permissions for any existing template in the Manage Templates page in Project Web App Settings.

Important

As a best practice, do not make any changes to the default Project Web App templates.

Modify a template

Perform the following procedure to modify an existing template in Project Web App.

To modify a template

  1. On the Project Web App home page, on the Settings menu, click Project Web App Settings.

  2. On the Server Settings page, in the Security section, click Manage Security Templates.

  3. On the Manage Templates page, in the Template Name list, click the template that you want to edit.

  4. On the Add or Edit Template page, make your changes to the template.

  5. Click Save.
