Microsoft SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA) for Access is a tool for migrating databases from Microsoft Access versions 97 through 2010 to Microsoft SQL Server 2005 / Microsoft SQL Server 2008 / Microsoft SQL Server 2012 / Microsoft SQL Server 2014 / Microsoft SQL Server 2016 / Microsoft SQL Server 2017 on Windows and Linux (Preview) / Microsoft Azure SQL DB. SSMA for Access converts Access database objects to SQL Server or Azure SQL database objects, loads those objects into SQL Server or Azure SQL, and then migrates data from Access to SQL Server or Azure SQL.
